What book am I most grateful for? I am grateful for "A Summer to Die". It was the first book that I fell in love with and it made me realize how great my sisters are=)

Good Deed

Have you ever done a good deed for someone? Well, since Christmas is coming, I have been getting a touch of nostalgia. One of my greatest Christmases was as a kid. We knew a family that had very little money, so our family scrapped some money together and went shopping for them. We wrapped the presents, baked lots of yummy treats , and dropped them off on their front porch (along with a tree)=) They had no idea it was us..but watching the look on their face from our hiding place was amazing.

One of my favorite trinkets is a small cat finger puppet that belonged to my oldest daughter. It is something that reminds me of how small and sweet she once was...(she is still sweet). I keep it in my dresser drawer

Favorite Book

What is my favorite book? Well, that's hard. I have so many. If I had to choose just one, I would have to say "A Summer to Die" by Lois Lowery. I know, I know...it's old fashion...but I could read it over and over again. It is the first novel I remember reading as a kid. I just might have to reread it=)
